The head is a tough aluminum alloy, the handle is stainless, and you should have no problems with that. ![]() The iKon 102 slant (currently my favorite slant) is US$70, substantially less than half the price. u/arbarnes has recommended the Above the Tie, which costs US$185, more than you might want to pay. For a thick beard, I would recommend a slant.
